I rarely ever write reviews, but as a recent transplant in Oakland I feel it would be a disservice to not share the experiences I encounter— unbiased and net new. That said, the only thing “good” about this establishment is the location. The food was beyond underwhelming… nearly inedible. I ordered the crab puff and Mongolian 3 combo. The Mongolian dish was terrible. The shrimp tasted like burnt rubber, which overwhelmed the entire taste. It wasn’t presented in a traditional Mongolian entree sauce, don’t expect that. The filling of the crab puffs appeared to taste spoiled. Besides the fairly decent interior, I don’t know why anyone would come dine here.
Fresh-tasting, spicy and delicious. Good portions. Nice versions of classics (hot and sour soup, Mongolian combo).
Bice cosy neighborhood restaurant with nice service!
$12-$13 delicious lunches, well prepared and presented. Very near BART and across from Market Hall.
Best family Chinese neighborhood spot.
