Good location for dinner in the city, good choices for breakfast, lunch or dinner with very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff.
Atmosphere and service were good but food was very bland. Cocktail was almost no alcohol. Got the chicken special and chicken was super thin, dry and flavorless. Wife got bowl and was disgusted. Don't recommend.
We were in the area and were looking for a place to eat. When we saw the ratings on this place, we decided to give it a try and boy, it did not disappoint. Lucky for us, we went during happy hour, so we got some margaritas at a discounted price. They weren't bad, but they weren't great either. I think maybe they had them batch-made, which always takes away some of the freshness. Our server, Ren, was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very spacious and exquisitely decorated. The ambiance was great and super pleasant. Now, let's please talk about the food. This was some of the best food we had during our visit to Chicago. Their Straight "A" Salad is so, so good and so fresh! We also had the truffle cheese flatbread, which was delicious. I need to make special mention of their Chicken Bebe (I love saying that)—both the chicken and the asparagus were cooked to perfection. The parmesan crust on the chicken was almost art. It was beautiful and equally scrumptious. It's been stuck in our heads long after our trip was over. Our total came out to about $95, not including tip. On the pricier side for sure, but definitely worth it. Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants we visited in Chicago. Highly recommend it!
Food was really good (we tried the pancakes and the croissant)! Atmosphere likewise(great playlist). Just the waiter could have been a bit more sympathetic, but maybe they were having a bad day. :) Still highly recommend it!
