If you have no standards for food quality, cleanliness, sanitation & service, this is the place to go. Or ... if you're homeless & just wandered off the street after a hard day of panhandling & are desperate for a bite to eat, this is the place to go. Also, this place attracts a prehistoric clientele that doesn't mind being ignored by the staff.

A favorite of mine, for sure!! Surfing Bird is my go to sandwich at this Newport Beach/Costa Mesa 🔥 spot!!!

Really nice people and the food is pretty good, but the beer tastes way off from what those beers should taste like. Not sure what's wrong.

Surfin bird. Get it with toasted roll and turkey heated. Incredible.

Not your basic deli and HUUUUUGEEE sandwich portions! All is yummy and a perfect place to stop and share a sando 🥪

Really bad service. The three girls behind the counter were on their phone the entire time Including the girl behind the bar.. these girls had not one bit interest in working!! They were literally attached to their phone. I waited at least five minutes before they came out from the back door and they were holding their phone.
