A friend and I visited this restaurant on Sunday. We ordered herb roasted chicken with mashed potatoes, two portions of stuffed crab bites, and mac & cheese. I particularly enjoyed the stuffed crab bites, rating them 5 out of 5. The rest of the food was rated 3 out of 5. While the mac & cheese was tasty, it was a bit too greasy for my liking. The DJ, server, vibe, and ambiance were all rated 5 out of 5. One downside was that the restaurant did not accept payments via Cash App for food orders; however, their valet service did use Cash App, which was linked to the restaurant. As I had only brought my Cash App card and not my debit card, I had to transfer funds from Cash App to a prepaid debit card in order to settle the bill. This caused some embarrassment as I informed my server that I wouldn't return due to this issue. Nevertheless, the server was understanding and assisted me in resolving the payment matter. Due to their helpfulness, I plan on returning in the future. It is worth noting that Cash App is considered a secure form of payment for merchants as it lacks a dispute process and ensures final sales. In contrast, using a bank debit card can leave restaurants vulnerable to customers disputing charges fraudulently. I hope this feedback reaches the owners so they may consider accepting Cash App payments given its security benefits for businesses. It's essential to adapt to modern payment methods in 2024!

It was a big party rented a section and the server was not very friendly. She should have taken our orders a lot sooner since we were on a time limit. The food took long, it took long getting pretty much everything. There should have been 2 serving the room.

Too expensive

I was alittle dissatisfied with my experience. The host and the ambiance was awesome. The live entertainment was great but the service was horrible and because of that the food wasn’t good!! Basic serving etiquette like having eating utensils prior to food being served as well as refilling of beverage. I spent 1500 for a party of 18. The server wasn’t equip to handle a party of this magnitude. Cold food being served , lack of info regarding ordering of items, reheated food instead of RECOOKING it, guest Receiving appertizer after entrees , guest not Receiving ordered items, I emailed the manager a week ago and I’m still waiting on a response!!!!

Had a 6:30 reservation on a Friday to meet with a friend. Valet parking is $10 & I believe it is the only parking affiliated with the restaurant. I arrived slightly late but was promptly seated by the polite hostesses. This was my first time at Batsi but I've heard good things. The layout is very deep artsy sultry vibes. It's pretty and highly Instagramable. I was worried it would be crowded on a Friday afternoon/evening, but I believe we hit a sweet spot in timing so it wasn't overwhelming at all. The drinks were delicious. Not heavy pours but appropriate for a restaurant and the costs ranged from ~$15-$30 for signature cocktails. The drinks do take a little while to come out but the food was very quick. I had the salmon which was tastier than I expected. Very good. I love restaurants that ask how I want my salmon cooked because it makes a difference. On to the entertainment! The first dancer came out after 9pm. She did spectacular and was engaging, dancing with us in the crowd. Batsi is definitely a fun spot for both after work vibes and special occasions. Definitely trendy so if you want to be on the scene but not trying to capture it all on your phone come early. And if you out for a super fly place to fill your IG out TikTok, def come after 8pm for a great time. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are limited, however there are some dishes that the proteins can either be removed from or that come without. Parking: Valet is $10, $20 for up front parking. It appears to be the only parking designated for the establishment. Kid-friendliness: I believe this is a 21+ spot so no kids allowed.

Atmosphere is amazing!!!! Vibe is there. I had the cream Cajun pasta with chicken. It was a bit salty. However the vibe is definitely 10/10 There is a 20% gratuity added to all meals & parking is $10.

Brunch is severely over priced. Waitress was no where to be found. Had to continue to ask random people to help us and it wasn’t even crowded. My drink was the best thing I had. The veggie omelet and cheese grits were mediocre
