We had a wonderful experience at Bata. Large open dining room. Fantastic service. Amazing menu. The food was excellent. Creative. Different. Shareable. Fun. Great wine selection. Reasonable pricing.

bata is great - wonderful food, impeccable service, and lively ambiance. I've eaten here twice and each time I had knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous waitstaff. the food is unique and innovative - no other restaurant in Tucson compares.

After an initial visit that left much to be desired, due to an unfortunate oversight where we were not served, the way the restaurant team handled our feedback has completely transformed our opinion. Their proactive approach, reaching out to us with a sincere apology and an invitation to give them another chance, was both surprising and heartening. Upon our return, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The service was attentive and personalized, making us feel truly valued. The food was equally impressive, with each dish showcasing the chef's dedication to flavor and quality. It's rare to see a team so committed to excellence and customer satisfaction. We are now avid fans and recommend this restaurant to all seeking not just a meal, but a memorable dining experience in Tucson.

10/10 experience! Our server, Oliver, was fabulous and the food was phenomenal. Highly recommend letting your server curate the experience for you. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful and knowledgeable staff

Took my husband here for his birthday and we had a great experience. Every dish served is concocted thoughtfully and is absolutely delicious. The chefs are all wonderful, they explain the dishes well. We did the wine pairing also and our server seemed well versed in all the wines and described each well when they were served with our tastings. Definitely worth it and would go again!

This was an amazing dining experience. Reminded me of a high-end restaurant in any major city. The food left me wanting to lick the plates! Leave room for desert, you won’t want to miss it! A shout out to our server Grace. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided a very high level of service. Even when something came out not to our liking, she handled it quickly and professionally. We are already planning our next visit. If you want a more modern, big city type of dinning experience, give BATA at try! You will not be disappointed. I’m glad to see a restaurant like this in Tucson.

Really love this restaurant. People who are saying the portions are small really don't understand what "tapas style" means. Everything we've ever had here is fantastic. Wine menu is great. Cocktails are creative. Appetizers and dinner courses have all been excellent. Love the winter squash with ancient grains especially, we get it every time. Anyone who thinks the menu is overpriced has clearly never tried fine dining in a coastal city. Hands down my favorite place to eat in Tucson, would not ever miss an opportunity to come here. Please try it out!
