Barterhouse Ybor

Great place to spend some time.. They have a full bar, and drinks are amazing and well crafted. Definitely stop here if you are looking for a place with god music and service!

We just love visiting Barterhouse (bar side). Scooby is an amazing (award winning) mixologist. Chuck and all the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. All of their menu is top-shelf. I dare say their deviled eggs are the best in Tampa, and their smash burger is easily among the best I've had...ever.

One of the waiters took my cigar which was not lit and threw it in the garbage. The manager told me it was lit before, so he threw it out. I told him that I was asked by another waiter to put it out and I did. So, the mean waiter brought me the check in a little cigar box, go figure, they use cigar boxes to deliver the check because it's ybor city. He mouthed off to me so I told the manager that I am not leaving a tip because of the savage behavior. So, the manager threw me and my fiance out of the restaurant. She was shocked and cried all night. I am a disabled army vet. and this is how I am treated. Why, because I walked in with a lit cigar.

Appetizers and drinks were good. Unfortunately waited over a half an hour waiting for anyone to check on the table to order more drinks and entrees and eventually left for somewhere else to get dinner.

Sometimes you wanna just stand on a rooftop and scream “this place has the best burger that I have ever eaten. “. And honestly, the Barterhouse burger, that you can only get at the bar, is a top one or two burger that I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten a lot of burgers! This burger is so simple, yet so flavorful, double smash patty burger on the most perfect bun, with special sauce, cheese, and some pickles. If you just look at the picture, it radiates like it’s a holy food I can’t give you higher recommendations.

Fantastic drinks, food and service. My eggs benedict was one of the best I have ever had! We will be back.
