My husband and I went there before my Drs. Appt (I have cancer). I was hungry but nervous about my appt. The people at this sandwich shop were so nice and the food was delicious. We will definitely be going here again. Ty to the staff u made my day a lot better.
I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and happy that I did. The ordering was very easy since it's all digital. I enjoyed the fact that while making my wrap I got a visual of what it looks like. And I loved the amount of choices I got. A nice man handed my food while I waited on their couch. The wrap was bigger than expected. The portions were great and the veggies tasted fresh. It was definitely worth the money I paid. Will be back soon.
Sammies so yummy me so likey!
Great food and brilliant customer service. Sheniqua (manager) is excellent to deal with as she goes above and beyond to assist her customers. Vegetarian options: great.
Ordered a mozzarella tomato sandwich. Most of the fill was arugula. Bread was average.
I am so glad I discovered this place. Sandwiches are my go-to for workday lunches, and Subway just wasn't doing it for me anymore. BB is a great concept: basically, you build your own sandwich, choosing from a long menu of fresh meats and cheeses, breads, condiments and toppings. Every component tastes fresh and delicious. You can even control the amount of each component -- a little more of this, a little less of that. Don't expect to stop by the shop and place your order, or eat in for that matter -- this is pick-up only. The NOMAD location is up on the second floor, above an unrelated 6th avenue storefront. If you don't look up, and look carefully, you might walk right by it.
I cannot stress this enough; do not order here for lunch during the week. I ordered my food at noon to be ready at 1. I waited for 45 minutes in the store and never got my food. I had to go back to work so I asked for a refund, and all they did was ask for my name. By 2:45 they still did not cancel the order… AND IT WAS STILL BEING PREPARED! it wasn’t ready an hour and 45 minutes after it was supposed to be picked up!! Not only did I never receive my food, I also never received a refund. Not to mention the service was terrible and the girl handing out the orders refused to help a number of people waiting in the store. There was many others waiting for even longer than I did.
There is an incredible variety of quality food in Nomad, and yet Barney Brown sticks out as a go-to lunch spot.
We get these sandwiches about twice a month for lunch in the main office. They are always a solid selection and their salad is one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s spring mix, orange, wonton crisps and a ginger like dressing. Really like this place.
