Banh Mi Station

I’ve come back many times because I want this place to be great but the food has always been a disappointment. Pho is bland and pork vermicelli doesn’t taste like you would expect. Hope they can turn it around as the location is great!

Went here yesterday for opening day at the works. Had the Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli Bowl and the BBQ Pork Banh Mi. Both were fantastic! I especially enjoyed the Imperial rolls that came with the chicken bowl. They had a nice light crispy texture! Highly recommend! Update: I’ve been back twice now and no vermicelli bowls ☹️ I hope they come back and this is just temporary! Updated Update: Vermicelli Bowls quickly came back! One of my favorite spots for these bowls.

I have been eating this here frequently over the years both dine-in and take out. They have some of the best pho broth in the city hands down. I have noticed some changes recently that should be address. On the take-out orders there haven't been any jalapeños, basil, or bean sprouts lately. Protein portions on the Bahn Mi have dropped significantly as well. Hope this constructive review helps! Great food & service!

This ain’t it. I got the tofu vermicelli. It was nearly flavorless. Staff was kind enough to give me more peanut sauce. Still flavorless. I wish I had read the other reviews and the halfhearted apologies from the owner before I ordered here

The shrimp rice vermicelli tasted pretty authentic to me and a decent portion for the price.

I love Vietnamese vermicelli bowls. So I like to try them from different places to compare. This one wasn't as good as the one I get from home in Northern Virginia. When I asked for pork as the meat I thought it would be a grilled pork chop like I get in N. VA. It seems to be cooked a different way. It tasted fine, but I prefer the grilled version. The vegetables egg roll/crispy spring roll wasn't great. It was very dry.

I just had the vegan pho and it was the best pho I’ve ever had. I’ve been up and down Buford Hwy eating pho over the years and Banh Mi at the Works was incredible. Delicious broth, fresh vegetables and I love the way they do their tofu: very thin and great flavor. Thank you! Vegetarian options: Fresh vegetables!! And delicious tofu!
