Thai soup and Sushi are the best.
Got a crazy seafood roll - most of that seafood was crab stick, which is not even seafood. The snow crab roll had a weird taste. Was hoping for it to be better… not coming back
While I wish I could rate this restaurant higher the sushi was a challenging experience. Come for Thai food skip the nigiri. I ordered their fatty tuna (otoro) and what came out was the tough greasy and mildly seared thing that I genuinely believe was inedible. I was incredibly disappointed. The pad Thai was decent.
Consistently excellent food and friendly service make it easily my favorite Thai food in the city.
Best lunch spot for 5 blocks in any direction.
While shopping on Newbury Street, I stopped and had lunch at Bangkok Bento. Ordered the Thai ice tea and egg wrap shrimp pad Thai. Both delicious with great presentation. Restaurant is small located in the ground floor of a brownstone building. Staff is friendly and attentive.
This was the easiest 5-star review I have ever given. The food was some of the best I have ever eaten, the service was amazing, and so was the atmosphere. It’s a small, crowded place but I feel that it is very cozy. We found the miso soup a bit salty and told them, and they nicely accommodated by adding more broth. Definitely one of the best restaurants I have been to in my life.
I thoroughly have enjoyed my dinners spent at Bangkok Bento. The wait time for food is never long and the staff is incredibly caring. I think the dim lighting inside creates a warm atmosphere inside the restaurant. I've tried many food options along Newbury St and I can confidently say this spot is deliciously top tier!!
Small lovely cozy place serving great Thai food and good sushi! Would definitely come back
