Bandol Brasserie Raw Bar

Good option for French cuisine in downtown, the bread is amazing! Must order it. Escargot were good, but not as it was in La Sardine. The paella was a bit oily, but not comparable as Tapas Valencia / Cafe Iberico. The drinks could be higher quality. The lobster is not worth because it is mixed as salad, so not really getting the taste of a lobster as Bar Mar by José Andrés. Good options in the menu, but pricey. The music is a bit loud (you need to raise your voice), but the problem is the style of music, it is the same, and it gets annoying after listening the same style of song for 10 mins (sort of Tropical + Deep House + Chill Out covers; playing a French radio station would be cool). The restrooms are "far", since need to go to a different floor at the hotel facilities. In summary, good French option for downtown.

What a gem. Decor was a sort of art deco-classic diner fabulous. Salmon was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Service very professional and attentive. Compliments to the chef and management. If you're looking for geat food and classy atmosphere at a reasonable price, or lunch before an afternoon at the Art Institute, this is the place. Easily walkable.

We had a great breakfast experience here for a friend's birthday! The lemon lavender french toast was delightful and service from Molly was top teir. Will definitely be back

Very good food with a little French flare in a Bistro setting. Dress was casual. Brunch prices were $15-$20 per entree. The service was very good. The menu was a nice mix of French and American.

It's the fries!! Sorry ate them before I posted.. crispy and light on the outside- almost like a cornstarch coating situation, fluffy on the inside and perfectly seasoned! This is one of my favorite Sunday brunch spots- had the eggs bene (real hollandaise not the package stuff) it's delicious! The croque is indulgent and the balance between the swiss, ham, crispy egdes of the bread- it is as it should be.. team members are personable and know their menu which is a huge plus for me. Go visit-soon!
