This place is owned by Gavin Newsom. He refuses to pay his employees the $20/hr minimum wage at this restaurant, when he’s the one who signed the bill to “help” benefit fast food employees. I refuse to eat at any Newsom owned restaurant.
Walked into this bar late at night, about 11pm March 22nd in a group of five. We grabbed a drink and I stepped outside for a smoke, but was stopped before being let back in. Little did I know there was a line to get in, and that I would have to wait for over half an hour to get in again. I told the bouncer what had happened and pointed out my friends. They did not care. I called over my group, and after further convincing from my fellow patrons, their answer was to give me a pass and let me enter the bar. Obviously, we very quickly left to find better locations that would not harass us for their negligence. The staff here are very rude and we will not return, and I urge others to do the same.
Really good espresso martini's
overcrowded brunch bar vibe maybe i shoud have come here brunch and bit cäcktails.
Nice to finally find a place to eat real and excellent food in SF as most places up the Pier areas are just fried fried and fried with obligatory French fries. One of us had the salmon which was gorgeous but the chicken pot pie was a revelation with loads of meat and veg with a creamy sort of stroganoff sauce and thin buttery top crust. Given that we had paid paid more for a burger in LA airport on the way to SF having a lovely meal for less was excellent. If you are near the Marina or Fillmore Street area please check it out. Nicest food I have had after 12 days in SF and Los Angeles.
I truly love the thoughtful design of this restaurant! Great ambiance! Service was also excellent and filled with attention. Best aps were the pumpkin puff and shrimps ! Truly perfect in texture and taste! Entrée noodles and rice dishes were the weak point. But the halibut was delicious and cooked tender and juicy Dietary restrictions: They were very educated and accommodating with people in our group with restrictions
