I stumbled upon Uri Scheft while he was taking photos in Boston Common of a special chala bread in honour of the hostages and he told me to go and try the bakery. We tried few different burekas (potatoes, spinach, cheese) and they were all very yummy. We also had almond babka as dessert and it was delicious. If you need some food for a picnic in the park or grabbing food for your work lunch break or a dessert to impress your family and friends this is the place.
All of the baked goods here are to die for. My favorite is the chocolate banana pecan babka. The pieces are huge and the dough is super fluffy. There is also a decent amount of seating here, so it is a great place to go sit at a cafe.
Got a hot chocolate and a walnut banana bread babka. The hot chocolate was warm but watery, but the babka STOLE THE SHOW!!! Warm, buttery, chocolate goodness with banana and cinnamon. Crispy and soft at the same time
Amazing place. Don’t skip it.
My favorite bakery in Boston! I'm a huge fan of their babka
