Bagel Express

Was my first time at Begal Express, and I asked about any special they have, was recommended a begsl with salmon , onions, tomatoes and pucke with small spoon full of cheese cream call Scotta Platter.(special sold at the regular menu price.) It's also included a tea spoon potato salad in a tiny plastic container just like a cream cheese, all was served on the Styrofoam plate with plastic fork and knife. The older lady prepared my order was nice, she looked very tired. I also ordered a capuchino, that was served by a yang very angree looking lady, the capuchino taste was like American coffe with milk not even hot , and tasted nothing like capuchino, also was served in the flimsy Styrofoam cup. For the price I was charged for that Platter and "capuchino " I can assure its was my first and last time at this Begall Express. The Begal it's self tasted no deferent that Publix sales. Food and over all experience with Dr.Oz show plaing on the TV at this bagel place was no more then 2 Stars overall. I wouldn't recommend this place, for similar salmon Platter and a real nice capuchino I usually go th Franch Bakary, they couple around this location, will cost about the same but quality of food served on the real glass plates and cups is much better taste experience.

I have been a 20' year customer of Bagel Express. Always had a great product, always. As of today, it is the worst product in the market. I bought 6 bagles at 7:30am on Sunday. Sign says open at 7am. You would think fresh bagels exist. I can assure you with all that i am, the bagels are yesterday's bagels. When i asked the owner/manager, who now needs a translator to communicate, she insists she bakes all day and if i was unhappy, i could bring my purchase back for refund. I simply advised it was too far for me to do so and more importantly, i would just never return. Another Icon of Kendall gone. New owner wouldn't know a fresh bagel from her elbow.

Been coming here for 20 years. Previous owner a bit ornery but knew how to run a business . Kept it incredibly clean. Now the ceiling tiles are nasty and AC vents are full of dust. What’s the kitchen look like? New owner/s are running it into the ground. I walked in last week to order lunch but they were so slow to receive customers it was apparent I’d be waiting a long time. I left. Tried again today - not realizing it was close to closing. 1:57 pm. I walked in and the staff blurted out “we’re closed”. I asked what time they close, as the door says 2pm. He just sat there counting his cash and could care less. How much profit is there selling bagels? I’d imagine it’s not a mountain of cash. Are you really doing so well that you can send $$ away? Bravo if you are! In my experience that’s the kiss of death and a sign of struggles…… Good luck!

It’s been a while since I’ve been here it used to be decent… came today got the egg & cheese sandwich and it had no flavor, super bland. I see it’s not the same owner, that could be the explanation for this .. Don’t recommend sorry
