I Love Bae and Bae Loves Me, and We Love @baekoreangrill at @hardrockholly because they are so #vegan friendly! We review vegan restaurants and vegan options on instagram: @the_vegan_vagabonds The staff at Bae Korean Grill always goes above and beyond to accommodate our requests and it is the perfect place to eat if you are at the casino or before a show at the Hardrock in Hollywood. At first glance there seem to be very little vegan options, but with a little creativity and a very friendly staff, any dish on the menu can be #veganized We always order the Crispy Bok Choy with garlic soy, pomegranate and crunchy garlic. It is one of the few dishes on the menu they do not need to be altered to be vegan and it is one of our favorite starters we have had together, highly recommended for vegan and non-vegans too. The next dish is also one of favorites, but it definitely requires a few alterations. The Stir-Fried Korean Udon Noodles normally prepared with american wagyu, spinach and egg, was made vegan for us by omitting the egg and substituting the wagyu for tofu, we are always so #grateful to the staff for accommodating our requests to make this delicious vegan alternative for us, and we highly recommend this flavorful noodle dish. The next dish requires a a bit more alterations, but trust me, it’s totally worth it, the Bibimbap, served with rice, assorted vegetables, gochujang sauce, egg yolk, sweet soy, and choice of beef bulgogi, chicken or shrimp was made vegan for us by using #tofu as our protein, leaving the egg yolk off the dish and using a ginger dressing instead of a fish sauce. The extra effort by the staff was very much appreciated and the dish was quite honestly a flavor explosion of traditional Korean flavors, we can’t get enough it, and if you try it, you will see why we love it so much. Now no night at the Hardrock Casino is complete without drinks, and Bae has the best cocktail menu at the casino. This evening we opted for sangria, one red, one white, both very refreshing and the prefect drinks to accompany the Korean spices. There are many other dishes you as a vegan can enjoy, just ask your server and they will help you navigate it. Good luck and enjoy, I know we always do! #Cheers #veganfoodie #veganfoodshare #veganfoodblog Vegetarian options: Server helps edit dishes
It was an awesome experience. Having your meal cooked before you with an awesome friendly attendant was just over the top. He was friendly and knowledgeable about his role and basically great. What impressed me is the table was not only attended by one person! Water refilled by others, drinks replenished by others and table cleared by someone else. Really great service.
Honestly, pretty disappointed in this experience, from food to service. Was willing to spend the money on the grilling part, but they told us you had to book a separate section for that…now why wouldn’t they tell us that when booking a reservation, especially when the menu doesn’t state that? Overpriced, flavorless meat. Not going to lie, $300 later and the only decent experience was the dessert which was a sweet potato based flan. High expectations, :(.
Very Classic Place!!! Check it Out
Had a wonderful dinner at Bar Korean Grill celebrating a friends birthday. Everything was amazing from the food to the service. I went with the “Bae Feast” and it came with 16oz of protein, one starter, kimchi fried rice, and one dessert. For the starter I went with the wagyu dumplings which was wonderful & for dessert went with the chocolate parfait which was ok. Overall I would definitely return back to enjoy another dinner!
Gabriel was one of the best servers we ever had. We never experienced something like we did today, everything exceeding our expectations. Thank you, Gabriel again.
