Avila's El Ranchito - Costa Mesa

Voted best in 2022? How? Nothing has changed since I can remember in the 80's!!! Rule of thumb....if you see the clientele is 95% white Caucasian in a Mexican restaurant...I promise you it's not that great! Very out of the microwave/el torito/acapulcos repetitive concuctions. Very simple, bland and tasteless rice and beans add to everything as a way to make the serving size look emense. One last note...the nearly $5 8oz horchata without refills is not worth it! Kuddos to the Chips and chunky guacamole (cubed avocados)
