Austin Taco Project

I liked this place. I had a draft beer from Houston (a Ziegenbock from Karbach, really nice) and a bowl. It was very good. The atmosphere was friendly and lively.

The location is tucked in the Hilton, and there appears to be other doors for other parties to this restaurant. The two larger tacos were very flavorful while the three small brisket tacos were tender. It was kind of loud in there but fun. Parking: $55 for parking at Hilton

Dined here two times during my stay both were good. They also deliver to room and pool

For a place within walking distance of the Austin convention center, it was good!

Absolutely awful breakfast tacos. I was here during SXSW, so I understand if operations weren't usual. Service was horrible and I had to ask or grab someone for everything, and I was tight on time for events, but 45min for one person ordering 2 breakfast tacos wasn't enough time apparently. Don't come here if you don't have to.

Worst "vegan" nopales tacos i have had. Super bland and flavorless. No salsa. Just tobasco sauce.

They usually close at 4pm

In town for SXSWEDU and ate lunch at Austin Taco project for 3 of the 4 days I was in town! The food was great and despite it being ridiculously busy during the conference, the service was pretty good. They also have really good gluten free options.
