Arepas House

Delicious arepa from Arepas House in Edgewater Public Market. Ambiance is amazing with something for everyone. Don’t sleep on these Venezuelan arepas. Highly recommend you get some extra spicy sauce. I’ll take more pictures next time and expand beyond just this one choice: Pabellon (black beans, shredded beef, fried plantains, avocado, cheese and Guasacaca sauce) sooooo good. Service was only docked because you order off of a tablet and there really aren’t servers. It is very efficient/easy though!

Ya habíamos comido en este lugar y nos había encantado. Esta vez el servicio no fue para nada agradable, fueron groseros a la hora de entregar el pedido, las cachapas estaban frías, nos las entregaron sin cubiertos, 10 min más tarde nos entregaron un patacon con una ración de tequeños fríos y el plátano del patacon estaba maduro.

This place is AMAZINGLY flavorful! I can't get enough of it. The plantain sandwich is a little on the pricy side, but so worth it! If you're considering this place, just try it. Kid-friendliness: It's a busy place, and I saw lots of small kids running around without anyone being bothered or annoyed. It's loud enough, busy enough, she large enough that kids seem to be able to spread out without parents having to worry about how they are affecting other patrons. Awesome place!

You are not going to regret it. You buy one and it is good for 2x. The food was excellent. I wish my city had one of this.
