Applebee's Grill + Bar

I placed a pick-up order and when I arrived (on time), It took a few minutes for anyone to acknowledge me at the hostess stand. There were probably 10 people, if that, in the whole restaurant with at least 3 servers and 1 bartender. A server walked right by me and didn’t say a word. Even if it wasn’t her job to greet me, she could have at least said someone would be right with me. By the time another server came over to ask me about my order, he couldn’t even be bothered to walk all the way to me at the hostess stand. He yelled from halfway in the bar area what my name was for the order, I could barely hear him. After I told him my name for the order, he went to the back, grabbed it off a shelf that I could see and put it on the bar to hand off responsibility to the bartender, who seemed too flustered to say hello. Mind you there were 4 people at the bar who already had food and drinks. I paid and left. I had a ten minute drive and while I understand food isn’t going to be the freshest with a pick up order by the time you eat it, my wrap was soggy and half hazardly thrown together to the point the filling was already falling out before picking it up. My fries were somehow very over cooked and undercooked at the same time. To be honest, they just seemed old, which is strange since the restaurant had only been open for 20 minutes by the time I placed my order. All in all, very dissatisfied with the lack of friendliness and urgency with service and the poor quality of my meal.

A great place to eat when you are on the go and need something fast Dietary restrictions: As a none meat eater, I was able to choose fish and vegetables

Every time I go there I feel like I am going to eat comfort food! I love the ribs and salads, the menu is kind of big but all the plates I have tried were pretty good. They have nice promotions every week too.

Bartender was awesome

Fui con mi hijo y estuvimos esperando a que nos pasarán a la mesa y habían muchos meseros y nadie nos atendía, vimos que alguien más (un americano) llego y paso a una mesa y nosotros decidimos hacer lo mismo y aun nadie llegaba atendernos y cuando al fin llego alguien fue para decirnos que el sistema de la tarjeta estaba caído qué si nos queríamos ir y le dije que iba a pagar en efectivo y ya no vi que a alguien más le dijeran lo mismo mientras tanto seguían llegando clientes y los pasaban a una mesa enseguida a mi hijo le gusta la comida de este lugar por eso decidimos quedarnos al pagar nos dijeron que el sistema había regresado bueno muy mal servicio

Don’t come to this place if you want service!!! Hosted will place you at a table that isn’t assigned to anyone! The person working the bar in the picture should get your order and doesn’t!!!! Then worker are looking and not asking if you been help!!! Thank god for Pastor Chuck, he saved the day and a good worker!!

While visiting family in West Palm I stopped in and had lunch. The bartender Matt and his crew was like watching a live performance. Definitely will go back just for that.
