Applebee's Grill + Bar

We didn't even get to sit down. We waited at the hostess stand for someone to acknowledge us. It wasnt even busy! Finally a person said someone said someone will be right with you. Well after a long wait that never happened so we went next door to Chili's. We were seated immediately with a smile and the service was excellent. From the looks of it Applebee's needs all the business they can get.

Our food was great, and Russell, our server was outstanding.

I met my son and granddaughter for dinner on 3/2/24. The hostess, the wait staff, and the manager were all very attentive! Our servers name was Russell, I believe, and the manager is Tracy. In the booth behind us was a woman that was very demanding and rude to the employees. It was a busy time at the restaurant, and there was a delay with her son getting his food. (I would’ve been frustrated, too, to wait that long for one of the meals to come out, but the woman was rude, demanding and disrespectful , in my opinion. In this day and age, with staffing issues, we all need to be more understanding of delays when they happen.)

Order was mixed with another ones order, food was cold, fries under cooked, ribs over cooked,

Wow wow wow ! This has been one of the best Applebees I’ve been to in a while. The staff and the food was amazing ! Definitely will be back again. Thank you for your service.

Service is and was terrible. Bartender doesn't bother to clear tables or bartop for at least an hour. Door is ignored and customers just leave and go to Chili's or elsewhere

I pick up my 92 year old friend to this Ormond Beach establishment at least twice a month. I am 71 years old, and did waitressing the better part of my life, starting at 15 1/2 years old. I was so impressed with the service today. It was extremely busy and only a few servers, and I watched as the GM worked all over!! He sat people, cleaned tables, delivered drinks and food, and checked back with all the parties. I was so impressed I had to stop and shake his hand. He, and our server, was awesome!!!!!! Thank you for having such quality staff. There have been a few times we have gone in, and due to being short staffed, had a little wait. But so very worth it!!!! But I am so very impressed with the GM, Kevin Cruser!! This world needs more like him!!!! Dietary restrictions: I am on a very low carb restriction, and was able to get a full meal I can have!!!!! I did cheat and ate the 4 croutons on my salad!! Lol!. It was the Biurban Street Chicken and Shrimp!!!! Thank you!!!
