Applebee's Grill + Bar

Our server, Katryna, was wonderful! Really personable and helpful with menu questions. Food was out quick and delicious! Parking: Free parking lot outside.

Let me summarize our delightful experience at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar in South Boston. The attentive server ensured everyone felt welcome, and the food left us all satisfied. The menu offers plenty of choices for kids. We opted for the flavorful Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp, as well as the perfectly cooked Grilled Chicken Breast Platter. What pleasantly surprised us was the reasonable pricing—our bill, including two kids’ pizza meals, came in at under $70. In summary, Applebee’s in South Boston is a fantastic spot for a casual meal, whether you’re craving classic American dishes or need a family-friendly place. I wish we have Applebee's in Canada.

We ended up here on a complete spontaneous whim. Looking for a late night drink so did not order food (can’t comment on that) however…the bar staff are FANTASTIC, some friendly staff at the door. I would like to comment that with a great managerial presence this place could be excellent. Unfortunately a few things let the place down, lots of uncleared tables and idle staff members in the restaurant section. Dirty floors and a lack of access to fresh ingredients (which I get are more expensive) but your bar staff are top shelf…let them make top shelf drinks and upsell. All in all a lovely experience with Solomon and Daniel A+ for drinks and good banter.

The food was nasty! The lady who had our table was nasty, mad disrespectful the food was disgusting I came from Worcester to eat and I was so disappointed

At Applebee’s you are greeted by friendly staff. The service was quick and friendly and the restaurant itself was quite clean. The food itself was pretty standard for a chain restaurant so can’t complain about that.

My experience was one I wish to not have again, I returned to this establishment 3 times and each time was a struggle. One visit I was seated an left in the booth for 20 min prior service, the second time I was sat at bar table since I was uno, and left for 17 min prior to service and on the third the food was horrible and tasted old. AKA ribblet platter, I was afraid to digest , I could smell bone and blood in seemingly cooked meat. Very disappointed and uneventful unfortunately and no they were not busy. People, parties who came in after me were seated an had drink orders put in before I even got a menu on two of the visits. Update 3/24 Thanks so much to the Applebee's restaurant management for reaching out and making attempts to correct my dinning experience. Once I eventually received my my gift card to compensate I and my family, we revisited the location for lunch and was seated quickly and drink an food orders were taken within 5 minutes of arrival. Food was hot and prepared to order. Customer service was exceptional
