A spot for locals and the brave tourists who venture to the area! Classics like pineapple bun and roast pork bun. Not the combo offered by my other favorite Chinatown bakery. For early risers, this place is open by 430am and those who know come here for the fresh baked/steamed goods and Chinatown coffee milk tea drink.
A hole on the wall place for locals, the food is delicious and inexpensive as if inflation doesn't apply here. No customer service mentality whatsoever, on the phone in front of us while ppl are waiting, place is disorganized, like doing barely minimum to pass city inspection, so this is more for takeouts. Egg tarts sold out quick than a New York minute so come early, better before 9 am!
Incredible tea, baked goods, and Lo Mai Gai (sticky rice stuffed with chicken, sausage, quail egg, all wrapped in lotus leaf). Not a ton of seating. I usually get a lemon iced tea with one sugar.
tiny local Chinatown bakery with good LotusLeaf wrapped sticky rice..
Small bakeries/western cakes, bread, and snacks.
This place used to make good coffee. I haven't been there for awhile, maybe the owner has changed, they have the worst coffee now.
