$$$$. Food was very good. Service was fine. But $23 /glass of wine is expensive even for a resort area. Don’t enjoy feeling like we were taken advantage of.
Beautiful setting on the marina, decent food, but HORRIBLE service. Dinner took 3 hours because of both our server disappearing for long windows - once for well over 45 min while we were waiting for food and all drinks empty, and our entrees taking 1.5 hours to come out. I had to go into kitchen to try to find our waiter (unsuccessfully), so had the hostess try to track him down. The tables next to us were also extremely irritated. Worst service experience I can recall...
After many times dining at this local restaurant, I have no intention of returning anytime soon. Second visit in a row that the service was pathetic (30 min+ just to take first drink order). The menu has changed, offering less. The prices have gone astronomically high. And the food was, well, not that good. Use to love this spot, hopefully they return to their former glory. But, for now, they have lost my business.
A group of friends came here during captain's hour 3-4:30pm , (happy hour) on a Thursday , the location was empty which was expected for the time of day and weekday. This place has a modern coastal feel to it with blue hues all over, a very calm atmosphere with laid back music in the background. There was seating outside but decided to sit at the bar. We were greeted by Gregory from jamaica. His presence was very welcoming and caring. Energetic to serve and converse with you about life. He crafted us a special Jamaican drink with a rum of our choosing. A show worthy presentation. Costs about 13 dollars. The food we ordered ,off of the captain's hour menu , was the pineapple Jamaican jerk wings with blue cheese and celery. The wings had a sweet crispy glazed outer flavor that resembled an Asian dish . Zesty and citrusy flavor. The blue cheese has a great consistency and had mini chunks of blue cheese. Paired very well with the wings. An excellent experience for a first time visit. I will definitely be returning here for our day drinking adventures.
Beautiful setting, food fresh and prepared well. Love the deck seating. A step up from some the local eateries where you place your own order and sit at a picnic table.
Amazing service, and food. Hospitality was unlike most places. Bartenders Gregory and his partner were fast as the wind and comedians for the night. Great time!
A huge Shout out to Gregory A great person and a perfect bartender
Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and most importantly amazing service. Ralph was extremely attentive, he made our experience very pleasant, even though the restaurant was very busy Ralph made it seem like we were his priority. Very knowledgeable of the menu, recommended great items. Thank you !
Ate here last night of conference for a treat. Red Snapper whole fish came out twisted and had little meat and was dry. Do NOT order. The lobster salad had too little dressing and was small for the price. Waitress did not check on us even though it was not busy. She seemed surprised when we told her the meal wasn’t great. She also had issues simply identifying the beers in a flight. She did not write down what we had and eyeballed each for a few minutes to id them. The bar food at Hawks Kay is far superior and cheaper and bartenders have much better service. Eat at the bar, not here.
