I was excited to visit another Wegmans restaurant. I was a bit surprised by the menu's simplicity. I loved it but was expecting more Italian immersion in the menu
One of my favorite Italian restaurants! Atmosphere is lovely and the food is absolutely delicious! The bread, salads, pizza and pasta are perfect. I highly recommend. The waitstaff is also top notch. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options.
Our waitress was great. Everyone had pasta except me and really loved it. I ordered an arugula salad which had way too much dressing on it. I had asked to add chicken but was told I could only add the chicken cutlet which was a $26 entrée and that the salad would cost $39. Seems insane. Especially when they are run by a grocery store where you can buy a container of grilled chicken for five dollars. I would even have been satisfied if they said it was a $10 up charge. But a $26 up charge? Parking: The parking lot is shared with the grocery store, and is very poorly laid out.
Update: Their prices have literally doubled Hit or miss. The food is great if it’s warm and if the portion size isn’t small. Called in the past about the torte being grainy. Asked if it was just because it’s is gluten-free. They said it shouldn’t be grainy and that someone would call me. No one did. Today my order wasn’t ready and I finally asked them to check on it 15 minutes after when they said it would be ready. They brought it right to me. Unfortunately, it was cold and the lasagna was quite small. I can reheat pasta dishes but calamari cold is irreparable. Called about it and the guy who gave me the order also mansplained that it would be cold by the time I called. He said someone would cal me about it tomorrow. Didn’t gamble on that, drove back. I will say that they refunded my order without incident.
We always are ushered to a less favorable location even though the place was empty since it was very early. And we did have reservations.
Very nice atmosphere. Food beautifully plated and tasty. Very friendly staff.
Food was delicious! We got the amore salad that’s big enough to share. The bread and butter is to die for. We also got the bolognese and margarita pizza. All great! Staff is wonderful. Such a cute place. The only thing I didn’t like was they made us martinis and charged us for top shelf vodka without asking. Sparkling rose was good but not great. The expresso martini and Godiva martini were so good. Overall it was still wonderful. I can’t wait to go back!
