AVOID! We had a reservation for 5pm. We show up and the lights are off, a sign on the door says “no alcohol”, and there’s a bag of trash laying at the front door. Most bizarre thing ever. Don’t even attempt going here.

I went when they had their holiday spread. I loved it. Plus, no dishes to do.

Good but definitely a bit pricey

Had our parents 40th anniversary here and service was incredible in accommodating our party. Very impressed with the food. Best currywurst we've had since germany. Will be coming back

Ordered a dish of veggies and potatos, with the Raclette! Couldn't wait to try my favorite cheese. (The joke's on me.) The owner/chef brought out the customary giant wheel. Burnt!, with a Black crust. He shaved the cheese onto the dish, and left. Everything, outside the G&T's, was less than Medioce.

Multiple factors resulted in a low rating for this restaurant. The food was average - it has a German feel but is far from authentic German. The pretzel appetizer was stale but the cheese and meat on it was good. The Alpine Fondue lacked flavor and was on the liquid side. Both the pork and chicken schnitzel was overcooked and dry. The restaurant had no diet soda or sangria or deserts tonight despite not being busy. The best item between my wife and I was the kasespatzle. The service was poor - the 2 servers were not attentive, not engaged or friendly, and made us feel they were simply "doing their time" so they could go home. (The restaurant was not busy - only a couple tables were full - less than 20% capacity.) The restaurant was hot (AC was working in the restrooms but maybe not in the restaurant?) with gnats flying around the table (we were inside). Both cars in our party received parking tickets despite being parked directly in front of the restaurant. We asked the servers if that happens frequently and they stated it does. I'm disappointed this is a known thing and no one really said anything about parking around the corner behind the bar. Overall, below average food, poor service, below average atmosphere, and poor communication/customer engagement. If the food was great, one or 2 of these things could be overlooked. We won't be back as there are plenty of other great restaurants around. Parking: Small, hidden parking lot behind the bar area. If you park on the street without a permit "A", you will receive a $50 ticket from the city of Columbus.

I was blown away by the quality of the meal and we had attentive and charming service. Will be back! Dietary restrictions: Great gluten-free options!

Went here for dinner and it was my first experience with German food. The Brussel sprouts were great and the fried cabbage and vegan sausage was WOW. Don't knock German food like I did. Please try this place you'll like it.

On Saturday evening (6/24), my family of 6 went to Alpine 614 for dinner. At the time, there was only 1 other table occupied at the time. We had some questions regarding the appetizers and the server seemed to be bothered with our questions. We preceded to order 5 appetizers for the table and all the appetizers were average in quality and taste. We also ordered a bottle of wine for the table and the server never asked if we wanted anything else. The server came back over and asked for our main course orders and (once again) was unpleasant . She never took the plates away from all the appetizers and the table was covered with plates. My brother asked if we could have the table cleaned up and she never came back. My brother had to remove all the plates from the table and placed them all at the table next to us. Our main courses arrived and we were disappointed. The bill was $320 without the tip for below average food and horrible service. At the end, we were never asked if we wanted any desserts, coffee, etc. After the dinner (plates were never removed) we had to go up to the bar and ask for the check. It was a disappointing experience and we would never go back. What a shame! They could don better!
