Why is this marked as temporarily closed? I just went there last week to pick up a bag of coffee. We are regular customers and love that it's a Black worker owned and operated collective.
I drove here at 730 before work and they were closed despite Google maps saying theyre open. They dont even post their hours outside the door.
Good cold brew, have been a regular since moving to the neighborhood. This morning though I found out they raised prices so my 12oz cold brew was over $7! I usually do a $1 tip too so can’t fathom paying $8 for 12oz of non-espresso coffee even in the Bay Area. This is ridiculous! Combined with little outdoor seating, curt baristas and no doggie treats, sadly today will be my last day as a regular. Bummer!!!
$10 for a almond milk latte! $2 added for the almond milk when half a gallon is $5 in stores?! 20% tip added automatically is also a bit rich, especially without being giving any option. Absolutely ridiculous pricing. Excuse after excuse about why it’s so expensive.
Definitely wouldn’t recommend this spot. 12oz of regular coffee for nearly $6? Counter serve only? Also your response to Jessica is absolutely pathetic. She never called you her servant, she expressed concerns over the lack of economic value for what she received as a service or product. Do y’all even know what alchemy means? It’s a process of transformation into something magical. Writing out your failed business plan and attempting to blame a customer for their bad experiences at your business is no solution. Go back to the drawing board and take the feedback and transform into something better.
Good coffee but absurdly expensive - when I just got a latte it was $6.82, and somewhat disingenuously the barista asked me to add a tip even though they had already included a 20% gratuity.
One of my favorite coffee spots! Staff is wonderful and the shop is a real part of the community.
