My daughter and I enjoyed our meal. Joann was an amazing waitress. We tried the pumpkin raviolis, we felt that was more like a desert than an appetizer, it was delicious! I had the cheese lasagna and meatball, my daughter had the fettuccine Alfredo and both were delicious.
Wonderful experience ! DELICIOUS FOOD! The lobster ravioli was mmmmmm
I ordered the vodka sauce pasta with penne and it was 10/10
The best penne alla vodka I’ve ever had!!! Food all around was fantastic. Tight sitting area, but great service & wine selection. Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free pasta
Excellent food and large proportions.
You know it's a bit naive to trust Google Reviews. I chose their Al Dente Special and got a pretty decent looking dish that had the potential to be delecious. But they must not know that umami is something that should be embraced and that spices makes the food taste better. No, it was bland at best. No passion. *** Fresh ingredients, but bland and boring. And expensive. *** The servers? Uninterested in their job and seemed unhappy. I felt sorry for the young lady who probably wanted to be anywhere else. Spend your money elsewhere. Did I mention that I, among my other three coworkers had the better experience?
Funny that they’re called Al Dente but that I had quite the opposite experience with my pasta there. I really wanted to like the two dishes I got, the lobster ravioli and the quattro formaggio but they served the wrong pasta for the latter (I ordered fusilli and got casarecce) and the pasta was overcooked. We asked for recommendations from the waitress and she said a lobster ravioli would be different from the quattro formaggio but they ended up being very similar. They both seemed like a vaguely tomato-y cream sauce that lacked any personality. We were also seated right next to the door on a day when it was about 13 degrees outside even though the restaurant was nearly empty so I was very cold the whole time. I was so excited to try this place and was hyping it up to my friend as “authentic pasta” since she was trying Italian food for the first time in the US so I was biased in favor of trying to like it, so me saying it was a big let down means it was really disappointing for the money.
Don’t bother making a reservation. Made one on their website a month in advance for 6pm and waited 36 minutes outside on the tiny side walk to be seated. People who walked up after us for reservations at 6:15 were seated before us. A few locals told us there were always people standing on the side walk waiting. Service was bad and very rushed and food wasn’t really worth it. Very loud atmosphere.
