Afghan Grill

I ordered lamp shank but they gave bone(with little meat left!) asking anything they argue! They serve food after about 45mins later! They are cheat, unprofessional and food have no test! Worst place in NYC!

Worst Afgan restaurant I ever visited. Food quality is below average. Gives a tons of rice in comparison to kabab. Introduce with cheap quality cold bread with very few cheese cube. Too slow service and uncooperative staffs. Congested place. If there was chance to give negative starts I would give it. Dietary restrictions: I suggest all food is below quality . I don’t know how they survive with competitors.

We were invited. Just seemed that the food wasn't enough. Portions were small. Even when we asked for milk for our tea/coffee, they seemed a bit stingy. They provided lots of rice though.

Lamb chop and chicken platter are much better.chapli and lamb kabab were extremely dry.

am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent visit to your restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations in several aspects. Firstly, I must point out that the menu items did not align with the advertised description of an authentic Afghani cuisine experience. The samosa and bolani were served in a manner that lacked authenticity, with both items seemingly sharing the same size. Additionally, discrepancies in the billing process were noted, as we were charged for an extra salad that was not part of our order. Furthermore, the overall presentation of the tableware, such as the utensils and plates, appeared outdated and worn. This not only affected the dining ambiance but also raised concerns about the hygiene standards maintained at the establishment. Most importantly, the quality of the food did not justify the high prices charged. Regrettably, the overall dining experience fell short of expectations and did not offer good value for money. As a result, I cannot in good conscience recommend your restaurant to others based on this unsatisfactory visit.

Authentic Afghani food served in a quiet atmosphere at a great convenient location. Food is delicious and served with care. Lamb Shank is tasty & Steak is great. Dessert variety is good. Ice cream and Baklawa has great flavor & taste. Parking: Free street parking

Always good, always consistent, the owners are sweet. Love this place!

Great kebabs and sauces. Hummus was also a nice starter. Rice was solid. Even the ice cream was great - even though I'm not a huge fan of rosewater, it was still a very good ice cream!
