Updated April 2024 The food here is meh. It used to be better. My gunpowder masala dosa barely had any seasoning or heat. Service is also clearly lacking. The restaurant was very short staffed and the staff looked tired and disinterested. We had to wait some time before we could get the server’s attention to order. When we finally got our food, we noticed that our drinks hadn’t arrived beforehand. We had to remind the staff that we ordered drinks in order to get them. I would highly recommend spending money on well-trained staff and updated decor.

Pretty average Indian Restaurant for what we ate and paid . Agree it’s NYC but other similar places on Lexington Ave are 10 times better than this! Dosa chutneys were served like tiny bit of tasters , Sambhar didn’t have any taste and heavily watered ! We ordered the Paneer Special Dosa , the paneer was served inside the dosa with the potatoes mix served on the side ! Only good thing was the filter coffee which was made well but overall one restaurant that I won’t be coming back soon!

Bad food bad service!! Won’t recommend this to anyone. Dry dosa watery tasteless sambar .. I wasted money and time going to this place for dinner

Great food and super cheap prices. Highly recommended! This is the most terrible South Indian food I’ve ever had. The chutneys were cold (which they refused to change), my mysore mallai masala dosa was extremely bland, chilli parotta tasted of poor quality oil and was oddly sweet. Their chai was also watered down. Service was mediocre at best. I don’t understand how they retain customers. I didn’t like a thing they served me. Please avoid if you can.

I ordered take out. Food was okay I didn’t like the vada it was hard but the rest was okay. I also didn’t like the way it was delivered or packaged though compared to other restaurants. Also the order took too long to arrive and kept getting pushed. It wasn’t as bad but could’ve been better. Overall, it was good

Gave me stale food and wrong order and also refused to refund me. These folks have a zero sense of hospitality. Restaurant itself is dirty, dingy and shabby. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
