Acropolis Greek Taverna - South Tampa

No Parkin área and I trying to eat 3 time there and no service. I am disappointed Don’t waste you time there they charge 7 dólar for parking and they area no responsables for damages Parking: They try to charge me for para Kim because they no have free Parkin and on top that the have a guy with no common sense

It’s beyond delicious, my favorite restaurant in Tampa. Fabulous food, great service. Every time I visit family in Tampa we try to go to lunch or dinner here and completely stuff ourselves. We’ve had many amazing meals and I can highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms, spinach artichoke dip, falafel wrap, baba gaoush, Mousaka, hummus, spanikopita, honey cake. I believe the owner’s mother is the chef & she uses fresh, high quality ingredients. It’s a must- try! Vegetarian options: The baba ganoush and ALL veg appetizers are out of this world, and probably the best falafel wraps I’ve ever had.

Spent some time in Greece and since we got back, we've always been on a hunt for a Greek spot that feels similar to what we were eating over there. We jumped around multiple islands and weren't limited to touristy spots, so got a good feel of authentic Greek cuisine. Acropolis truly exceeded our expectations and wound up being honestly the closest thing we've had since our trip. Absolutely deserves 5 stars.

I spent time in Greece a few months ago and this is the most authentic Greek food I’ve had tried since being back in the US. We got saganaki, tzatziki, horiatiki salads, and baklava. All of which were phenomenal. Will absolutely make this a regular spot.

Music was too loud, our ears hurt, we couldn’t talk and enjoy our time!

The food was excellent and the prices were to be expected. For the most part, service was handled incredibly. Unfortunately, one of the newer employees repeatedly forgot silverware and various meal necessities. I was forced to find said items myself.

Had Lunch in Tampa today off Kennedy Blvd. this Greek Spot is perfect! You can sit outside and relax and enjoy an Amazing Greek Salad. The Service was great, the food was good, just eating outside was relaxing after finally having a day off. The servers was Katie and Michaela and they were very cool.
