What a gem! We happened to be in the area for a few hours and stumbled upon this unassuming spot in a run-down strip mall. I’m glad that we trusted the Google reviews and gave it a chance. The service was genuine and attentive, with our server giving great pointers for first-timers. Don’t sleep on their cubed French Toast - and be sure to get a loaf of bread to take home with you!
Spicy Mac and cheese or jambalaya is the bomb.
Food was Ok. Maybe C+ from the three people who dinned. We came in for Breakfast. My Brisket was DRYYY. Two out of 3 dishes we had, had the brisket. Home fries are DELISH. Food wasn’t plated to appeal the eye unfortunately. On the PLUS side All food was finished. The jalapeño corn bread was delicious and moist. That was the best part of my meal. Coffee was good and the mimosa was strong but good as well.
Been here a few times now In my opinion the best diner in Grove City excellent staff friendly attentive and helpful wonderful menu selection food is always delicious flavorful well seasoned You definitely have to try the plantains very delicious Overall highly recommend this restaurant establishment.
The food is excellent. It tastes like food that I enjoy home cooked at my home. All the little special touches like home fries with fresh chopped green bell peppers that taste like fresh cut and cooked potatoes not frozen and deep fried. And the omletes are fluffy with fresh vegetables added. The waitstaff checks on you and cares about your dining experience. The prices are fair for the large portions of quality food. I will definitely be back the next time I visit Grove City to try more of the items offered on the menu. I you want a quality home cooked meal look no further.
My wife declared the chimichanga the best she ever had.
Here, I thought this was just another american diner. I just wanted something local to eat. I wasn't expecting the mexican american cuban combo. Seriously, french toast bites, a breakfast burrito, and plantains! They put real fruit on the french toast. I love it. The place was packed, and it should be. I drive truck, and out of the many places I've been around the country, this diner is a real gem. Great food. Nice people.
