Service was the lowlight, they forgot our order and then didn’t check on us until 45 mins later and said the food was delayed because of a “shift change”. She offered a free dessert to make up for this but then never came back around and we had to flag someone to pay our bill and leave. Definitely would not recommend coming here, the mediocre food does not make up for the lacklustre and unfriendly service.
Good food, bad service. We were a group of 5 at 8pm on a Tuesday. The server with pigtails continually rushed us to order. The food arrived way too fast and then the server ignored us thereafter. The restaurant was half full and nobody came in after us for our table. Later we tried to order drinks at the bar and she continued to ignore us. I’ve eaten at Miriam many times; the management here needs to get much better. The food here is good, generous portions and good flavour. The room is lovely (unless you get stuck at the back near the restrooms under the balcony). But I didn’t enjoy my evening because of the service.
This was a great place to eat regarding the food. VERY unique & tasted wonderful. My small gripe is with the Noise Level & Upstairs temps - both as a result of the facilities being so small. NOT a date night place imo...more for Socializing. Too noisy for date night. But food was on-point regardless - Gumbo was super good!
Stopped in 1803 for lunch while I was downtown. The staff was friendly and super helpful. I ordered the Catfish Sandwich that came with friends. The Catfish was flavorful with their house chili sauce. I wish the bread wasn’t so thick for the amount of meat. Interested in trying some of the other options on the menu, but overall had a good experience.
Cibo ottimo (specie la carne con la crema di caffè) ,servizio impeccabile e ambiente molto carino. Prezzi in linea con NY
Food is pretty decent but when you pay $26 for poach eggs you expecte it. The Bloody mary was an insult to any bloody mary, some bloody mary mix with 3 tiny olives for $20. The worst part was the live band playing so loud during brunch we could not have a conversation. We ended up leaving mid brunch, that was not brunch was suffering
I ordered the fried catfish appetizer and the jambalaya entrée. My friend ordered the Cajun escargot appetizer and the shrimp and grits entrée. All of the food was very good! The service was average.
I love the vibes here! The restaurant’s interior is cute, clean, and rustic. I came here for brunch and had the crawfish cake Benedict and really like it. I’d like to come back and check out the live music.
