The Cherry Cricket

$23 + tip $28 total for a bacon cheddar burger and a side of onion rings. Soggy bun and definitely was not a 1/2 pound of burger. Nice service. Fun atmosphere. Total rip off. I work next door too so it's super disappointing.

(Update)-The Cherry Cricket cares a lot about the individual experience of there food and atmosphere. The burgers here are great and I highly recommend them. The one star is due to service, I was seated and then spent the next 15mins waiting for a server to stop by. I ended up leaving and I'm abit disappointed I didn't eat there.

$3.00 for Soda Water. Screw that. My burger was way undercooked and the forgot the sautéed mushrooms. Used to have excellent burgers, don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon.

I haven't been to the Cherry Cricket in years. After happy hour at another location we decided to get burgers at the Cherry Cricket. My partner and I had the bison burger which was very good and perfectly cooked. One of my friends had the Little Cricket burger and the other one had the normal Cricket Burger which they both said we're good. And our other friend tried the chicken-fried steak which he really enjoyed. We shared onion rings and potato chips. The service was fast and good. I would return here sooner rather than later for a burger since it's been so long since I've been here and it's as good as I remember.

Denver landmark and the best burger in town. The Cricket is also known for its Mexican food, homemade soups and desserts. Give it a try, don't let the exterior fool you. This is one of the best restaurants in Denver for good simple sandwiches and such. They also have an incredible array of microbrews.

"Don't S*** where you eat..."Awww the Cherry Cricket, you used to rank so high in my staple of eating out....until one horrid dinning experience. I'll try to keep this brief...After deciding to eat out with the neighbors we cabbed our way to the Cherry Cricket, looking forward to delicious macaroni wedges and burgers. As usual there was a wait, we decided to wait at the bar. Paid our time at the bar and the hostess lazily pointed to where we would be seated from the front door. 2 of us went to sit only to discover we were short a chair, no big deal...I go and ask the hostess for another chair- she mumbles something and turns away- my thought "I think I am getting another chair...?" While we wait a GLORIOUS booth opens up, our friend goes to ask the hostess if we can be seated there instead. The hostess then responds to her very rudely that "I know you need another chair, its on its way!" she replies, "Actually we were wondering if we could have the booth over there.?" the Rude hostess then follows up with, "You can have that booth but its really going to mess my night up" My friend then comes back to tell us what a B**** the hostess was, little did we know her sister was the waitress at the wait station next to us. We are promptly seated at the booth while one of us closes out at the bar, right next to the wait station. Our friend still at the bar overhears our waitress say "You don't F*** with my sister, call her a B****...all i have to say is you don't S*** where you eat" then our friend proceeds to close out/watch her come to our table to take our drink and appetizer order..Mmmm those macaroni wedges are going to be delicious we all think. Until...our good friend comes and confronts the waitress. She is completely off guard with her calling him out. The manager comes over and ends up comping drinks, but isn't apologetic and doesn't really seem to care about the ordeal.I won't be returning to The Cherry Cricket and that's a bummer. I'd also warn everyone that decides to eat there be careful about pissing off the staff unless you want spit or worse in your food.

It was as good as I ever heard it was. I mean what can you do to a burger? I don't know what they do but damn! It was tastey!

"Mmm-mmmm. That is a tasty burger." There is a reason why this place is often packed to hilt. The Cricket has one of the better made to order burgers in the area for its type of restaurant. Why not 5 stars you ask? It's hard to find a place to park, it's usually crowded, it's loud and the wait staff seemed over burdened resulting in slower than average service. On the flip side, the portions of fat-laden, artery-clogging goodness are large, the location is fun and upscale (it is Cherry Creek) and having everything prepared exactly the way you ask is a minor miracle for such a busy kitchen.

"If its in our kitchen, we can put it on your burger" Give me a burger with peanut butter + egg + grilled onions! Or give me a burger with thousand island + whole grilled onions! They definitely can make you a burger anyway you want it. Also their burgers are very juicy and get all over the place. Great beer selection and lotta TV's. Wait can get long on weekends, but you can chill at the bar while you wait for your table.
