Went last week as I was working in the area. Decided to bring salmon home for my son since it's his favorite & ordered there before. Asked how long so I could order with enough time to leave to pick him up. Told 15 min but took 30 then when I got home & opened it, it smelled really fishy. He loves salmon & took one bite & said it's bad. Being that I spent $21+ on this, I didn't want to believe him, yet when I googled how do you know if salmon is bad, sure enough: fresh salmon should have a neutral or mild smell. Bacteria on the surface of the fish convert TMAO, which produces a volatile compound called TMA which produces an unmistakably fishy odor. This $23 meal went in the trash. Spoke to the GM tonight & even though he appreciates me letting him know, nothing said about the money spent on a meal that was rancid. Didn't want to bash them without giving them a chance to make it right... but me spending $21+ on a meal that went into the trash, only being told you appreciate me informing you, didnt make it right. Definitely disappointed & I gave you a chance before making it public.
This review is directly addressed to Jerry the bartender..I ordered a glass of Chardonnay to the tune of $14 a glass …the pour was barely a quarter of the glass. So I walked to the bar and mentioned this to him. His response was “looks like a good pour to me”. And. “I’ll send a manager over”…The manager never came over to address the issue…shame on you! This is no reflection of the food and the lovely waitress. We will explore another venue in the future..
Waiter was extremely rude. We walked out!
Restaurant looks great, staff is blah and don't seem to want to be there... Food is definitely not worth any price they have, it's really mediocre and taste like bagged or boxed food.... $20 for 3 tacos, a small small bowl with beans and rice, and a Dr pepper.... RIP OFF!! My bill should've been alot $12.99 + tax bit $14 for 3 tiny tacos and horrible beans and rice. Texas is a sad sad place for going out to eat.
Liked it a lot. Will definitely go back again!!
Highly recommended. Excelent food, service and the place. Parking: Five stars
Beware most reviews are of the old location that closed a few years ago. The new place feels like a strip mall restaurant with a large "eating hall". They don't serve cornbread anymore. The menu is different. The food is mediocre for the price. The beer selection is "non-existing", unless you like light beers. The booths are uncomfortably high, with nowhere to put your feet on.
The Navajo taco was delicious!
Service was great and so was the food. We got queso which was delicious. The catfish beignets were good as well. The Diablo pasta could have been spicer, but was still good. The catfish tacos were perfect. I would highly recommend
