Zen Kyoto

One of my favourite places on the Path to buy lunch. There's usually a lineup at peak lunch hour. They offer lots of selections of already packed food, as well as dishes you can order from the menu and wait for it to cook. This time, I ordered their torch salmon lovers set that was already made to go. They had just put it out, so I thought I was getting the freshest salmon. Unfortunately, the salmon tasted rather fishy, which surprised me as their food is usually on point. Perhaps they should have a taste test of their fish before putting them out.

Worst ramen I ever had. The noodles texture is bad, the soup is no taste. I would say an instant noodle is better than it. It doesn't worth $16, it should be only worth $5.

A sushi place run by Japanese staff. Am usually weary of stacks of sushi in a fridge but all takeout containers are freshily made. The sushi rice is soft and not dry. You can eat fresh sushi for under $20 here. It is worth it.

Not really a sit down eat area, but more take out. The dragon rolls are amazing here, they are super loaded and filling. The sushi here is more on the pricier side for something that is not made on demand and sits in the fridge. Don’t get me wrong, they make the sushi fresh here every morning so it is fresh. They just package the rolls they make and stick them in the fridge for people to pick and choose.

Used a long time for scan ordering, and the ramen was terrible not Japanese style. Can see Chefs just from local people and not valuable!!!!!! NEVER COME BACK AGAIN
