I did not even eat here but sat in the park next to it waiting for somebody for about half a hour and could hear everything. The doorman/host quite literally was the most positive, upbeat and fantastic person. There wasn't a person who went in that door that didn't feel cared for or loved. I didn't even interact with him or eat there but I felt welcomed lol. I thought I overheard him say his name was Eric or Derrick.
Great for drinks at the bar, good shared plates
Great experience. Great taste! Our server didn’t forget my allergy for raw tomatoes. And I mentioned I can handle cooked/grilled ones, she made sure it was on the side. We were all so surprised by her attention to detail.
Very beautifully designed restaurant. We went there to just have a few drinks and some appetizer plates so didn’t fully try the main courses. We tried the Raki and the hummus and the baba Ganoush and fatoush salad. It was okay but we weren’t blown away at all and better options for lower can easily be found in NYC. But again we didn’t try a lot of food options so I will give them benefit of the doubt and maybe go back again soon.
Great service, great food, reasonably priced for the quality. The bread here was amazing and plentiful to go with all the dips and falafel, excellent for soaking up the amazing sauces.
Overall good experience. Zaytinya is attached to the ritz Carlton and can be accessed through the ritz or from the street. We had a reservation for 6pm that we made a week in advance. The food was good and flavorful. Make sure to try the veggie dishes, they were great! The chicken kabobs we had were a bit dry though. Service was sometimes slow. The chocolate cake was tasty but as you can see in the picture it looks like… well poop
