The shop owner is very kind. I ordered food to eat at the hotel. He gave me 2 bottles of water, very kind.
Very tasty and fresh food. I tried Pho and mango lassi and they were great.
The food, service, and cleanliness of this restaurant are divine... very peaceful and serene
My first time trying this place. Our waitress Linda recommended the Panay curry, sweet and sour chicken, and fried potstickers… it was really good! We came during the rush hour, so if you don’t mind waiting I would definitely recommend. Oh and the Thai Tea is amazing!! ————update———— I came back to try the Indian food, was recommended the butter chicken and vegetable samosa by Linda. It was so good! She also made me a mango Lassi which tasted very refreshing!
this place has declined tremendously. i asked for an extra egg and they just lay it on top of the rice??? why not cook it with the rice? ugh too inconsistent..won’t be here again
Sushi rice was so stale. The calamari was that imitation fish chewy stuff and it was cold. I tested it in the car before we left the parking lot so it should have been hot. The spring rolls had a weird smell. The only things I’d recommend are the basil fried rice and pad see ew. Skip all the above sides. My kids love sushi and they barely touched it. I ordered enough to feed a family of 5 and we were starving. A good bit of it was thrown away.
Its a rip-off. Got one soup and shrimp fried rice came with 6 shrimp cost 27$... that's crazy ............
UPDATE: After receiving the baffling response below from the restaurant, it's clear they need to learn basic math principles, business ethics, and tax laws. Please note - charging more than the allowed state and local sales tax is TAX FRAUD and illegal. Not to mention this is also stealing from your customers. 8.75% of $55.70 = $4.87 We were charged a total sales tax of $8.78 on a $55.70 bill...Even doing the most basic math out there, you can figure out that this is well above 8.75%. 15.76% of $55.70 = $8.78 So they charged us a sales tax of 15.76% (nearly 16% as I stated before). Current posted sales tax for College Park is 8% to 8.75% (local and state combined). Again, we asked for the additional amount to be removed from our bill but were refused. Because we already ate, we paid and left. This seems like a small amount of money to take from a customer, but imagine what that number could amount to if they do this to every customer. Be ware all. Check the taxes they put on the receipt and make sure it's not more than 8.75% before you pay! We've been coming here for years and will absolutely NOT be returning. ORIGINAL REVIEW: After dining in, we were charged nearly 16% sales tax! State and local for College Park should be 8.75% total. We complained and asked for the doubled tax to be removed and were refused. We paid and tipped the server well, but will not be returning. Very disappointing because we've loved this place for years.
Had not been here in a while - under new management- staff friendly and owner was friendly and did check on everyone - a new Indian menu starts 1-1-24. We were the only ones in there besides another table of 3. He was offering them taste testing of the new Indian dishes and it would have been courteous to offer us some too. We just felt awkward.
Great hidden gem in a southside strip mall!
