Probably one of the worst Chinese restaurants we ever went to. Fried calamari had a funky smell and was dipped in thick donut batter. Chicken with mixed vegetables was not fresh and white rice was not included. Pork lo mein was pale and flavorless. Also, they wear t-shirts claiming that they are #1 at 4 locations

Good Chinese food is hard to find in SW Florida. I heard everyone raving about Yummy House. That does not always mean it will live up to the hype. I am glad to say that it did. This was hands down by a long margin the best Chinese food I have had in Florida. True NY China Town flavors. Highly recommend and will definitely make the 40 minute ride to eat there again.

Food is the best in Sarasota. I’m from CA and had not found great Chinese food in Sarasota till today. Beef chow fun, salt n pepper tofu, egg rolls.

The food was mediocre. I asked for 3 out of 5 spicy. It was 0 spicy. No rice came with it. Who knew I would need to ask for a scoop of white rice? I didn’t even get the crispy things for my hot sour soup. I guess they were out of rice, wanton crisps, spicy sauce and fortune cookies. Delivery service didn’t even attempt to deliver to my door. I had to hunt them down. They just sat in their car.

While service by our server, Angel, was fantastic, the same can't be said about the food. We came in expecting good authentic Chinese food, which we didn't get. No, we didn't even get good food. The Peking Duck, which was $50, was flavorless and falling apart. The sesame chicken was also flavorless. More than half of what we ordered had practically no flavor to it. The shrimp in our shrimp fried rice was undercooked, and had a very weird slimy texture to it. The tea was poorly brewed, probably overbrewed, as the flavor was extremely overpowering. Genuinely, the tea might've had more taste than everything else on the table combined. We left unsatisfied and depressed. Overall, the price was not at all reflective of the quality. Extremely overpriced for dry and tasteless food. The quantity for the meal was large and overall ok, but for the duck specifically it was extremely little. Many of us left feeling unsatisfied and honestly a little sad with the food quality. when it comes to billing, the server tip was built in which was a little bit of a surprise. bathrooms were also a mess, as both toilets were unflushed, absolutely reeked of perfume as the scent diffuser was knocked over and left a puddle on the ground. overall, decent service and food for a fusion restaurant, but for a place claiming to be authentic it falls extraordinarily short. not to mention the questionable hygiene.
