The sushi is 10/10. The best taste and price in the area. Portions on soup and sushi were bigger than expected. The employees were extremely friendly!
Disappointing! After reading reviews We were looking Forward to trying Yumi. Got take out and the order was incomplete. No rice or fried rice, the chicken was missing the sides and was just 6 pieces in a foam container. They had their chance and blew it. Can't recommend and won't be back.
Very nice restaurant with a casual, laid back atmosphere. Food and service were very good. We will be back soon! Food pictured: Kobe Ribs Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available.
Place smelled like dead animal
If I didn't live 15 minutes away I'd take this back. It is incredibly bad. The orange chicken batter had the consistency of a water balloon. Seriously.....it's like poking at a latex balloon. I took the breading off and the chicken looks like when you forget there was chicken in a container and you find it in the back of the fridge 3 weeks later. I took a bite and it was just as tough too. Awful flavor to just the chicken. Someone said "like candle wax" I get that. I was thinking a bar of soap. I figured it was a bad piece. I tried another. Nope. Just as awful. I figured maybe just mine. Suddenly my son who is a garbage disposal says "oh gosh.....what is this. This isn't chicken. " he took one bite and was done. He noticed the same about the batter too. Ok....let's eat the rice. Nope. The rice tasted freezer burnt. You know that smell when you open and old bag from the bag of the freezer. What I figure that stuff tastes like. Something wasn't right. We had to throw out the chicken, rice and some kind of Korean chicken side. It soggy like leftovers and the chicken was equally bad. First time. Last time. Lost almost $50 here. Krab was different so that's decent. Soup was edible with minimal flavor though. My wife liked the egg rolls. Just to be fully honest.
Ordered online thinking there was delivery.Had to go pick it up.Happy I did.Found a new spot.Just finished the food and it was so good I wanted to thank them. The front staff/host was very nice and informative.
I’ve been getting food from Yumi Asian since they opened back in 2019.They are without a doubt one of the only restaurants that can offer such a variety of dishes yet maintain excellent quality and taste. Honestly, doesn’t matter what you order it will be delicious. I really like their Korean dishes. As well as the Ma Po tofu. But you can’t go wrong with any of their Chinese entrées as well. The staff is always so kind and friendly, and they go out of their way to make sure that your food taste great .
This was the first time I've ordered from Yumi. We ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken (which was fine...very average. Good sauce though) and "General Chicken" which is meant to be General Tso Chicken. It was terrible. The flavor was completely off. You could tell it tried to be General Tso but it tasted burnt and a very weird sauce. The fried rice was only that. No veggies, eggs, or meat. White steamed rice and soy sauce. I threw out the "General Chicken"; I couldn't eat it.
