Great Atmosphere, Great bartender Carla behind the bar and great mimosa towers
Didn’t even get to sit down. This place was supposed to stay open until 9pm. We got there at 8:25, and were turned away. I won’t go back.
First and last time at this place, Waitress seemed bothered when we we’re asking her questions on the menu and be ready to pay a very high fee for paying with a card.
Just went tonight and arrived at 8:28. They looked closed, but we opened the door, and they were open. The staff was cleaning and told us that they were closed and only taking to go orders. I was embarrassed because I was taking a friend for the very first time. As we were walking out they turned away a party of 7 at 8:30 when their online and in person door clearly states they close at 9. We ended up at River Ranch down the street. Very disappointed they would turn away business. YOLIS please state your operation hours clearly because hungry people like to eat.
The food was pretty good. The guacamole was just a bit sour but other than the rest of the food was great. The atmosphere is pretty ok. We were helped by a couple of people. It seemed like half of the staff was great but the other half was rude and short. I would probably still recommend for authentic Mexican food.
My wife and I saw a video "reel" about this place a few weeks back. Everything on the video "reel" looked delicious!! So I took my whole family (family of 5). Anyways, to make a long story short, the food NOT taste AT ALL as delicious as their video we saw. We were VERY DISAPPOINTED how bad the food tasted! We almost left most of the food and left, but we managed to eat SOME of it. Yolis made a good adverstiment video and did manage to get us there, BUT WE WILL NOT go there again any time soon. Anyone who leave any rating with 4 or 5 stars, must be a white person or non-mexican or completely white-washed; because the food was NOT good. Nothing was good, and we all got something different just to try their items! Even their "Mexican" aguas weren't good. They tasted like those quick aguas from a machine! Maybe we'll try it again in 7 years or so, if they're still there.
For a Saturday 4pm was not busy at all. Nice atmosphere, lighting, and decor. Ordered drinks. Cafe de olla was too sweet so we switched to regular coffee. Then we were told that they didn't have regular coffee anymore. They asked if wanted Chips, Salsa, and Guacamole. Figured that Guaca was extra but all 3 were extra. Large Chips, Salsa, and Guacamole $12.95!! Guacamole was not fresh at all. Food looks good but doesn't taste good at all. Menudo & Barbacoa en su Jugo were salty. Carne Asada Combo had no flavor and usually comes with onions and green peppers. Chilaquiles de mole was really sweet. Chilaquiles Verdes had no flavor and got fried egg on top instead of scramble eggs. Quesabirria Combo was okay. Hand made tortillas were raw and not cooked throughly. Lastly it's cheaper if you pay cash if not you have pay $8 more for noncash payments. Will not come back again. Didn't get option to upload pictures.
Had chicken and mole it was too sweet. Chips were great! Carna asada needed more favor.
