YOKEE MILK TEA

It is one of the best boba tea I’ve ever tried in Bay area. I had mochi soy drink with 0% sugar. The mochi is super soft. I wish I could get more mochi. The mochi cream is light sweet and full of flavor. The milk tea has strong tea aroma without being bitter. The parking is a bit tricky since it is in downtown. I ordered online and came for pick up since parking is tough.

The drinks and the boba are fresh and tasty. Order online works well. That’s basically all I need from a boba place.

The drinks here are absolutely amazing, and I couldn't get enough of the durian drink—it was love at first sip! Though a bit on the pricier side, it's definitely worth a try for the unique flavors. I also gave the mochi drink a shot on another day, and it was quite good too. However, I must say, having tried mochi elsewhere, the ones here at Yokee's didn't quite match up. Cafe de Mama in LA, for instance, had a better version. Yokee's mochi has a somewhat tricky taste that just didn't quite hit the mark for me. Nonetheless, the overall drink experience is a winner!

When they ask you how sweet you want your Thai tea then you know it’s going to be good. My daughter loved it.

We come here for the boba drinks. Food we only tried once, chicken wings were tasty but a bit pricey for the portion. The boba drinks on the other hand are one of the best I tried in the Bay Area! The boba (tapioca bubbles) were served warm with your cold drink, I tell you it hits different! This drink, Half cold and half warm is the bomb! We typically get the brown sugar boba matcha volcano, it’s great and yes they do dairy free options! they have an ordering kiosk so you hardly interact with the staff/employees, until they give your paid order or if you opt to pay cash instead. Expect longer wait times if you order food too. No seating inside just a couple chairs outside very small boba spot, you wait outside for your order but I don’t mind it. It’s worth it! The cost of the drinks are decent imo. But yes I recommend this place for their boba drinks in the Oakland uptown area. Enjoy! Dietary restrictions: Dairy free milk options available
