This place is a hidden gem in a local strip mall. Wish its location could be more visible. I like their crispy beef wrap and Shanghai wonton soup. Authentic and not Americanized. Last time, I had soup dumplings which were freshly made (you can see that chefs are making dumplings to order in the corner of the kitchen) and excellent. Even if they were take out, still tasty, not greasy at home. Personally food is better than Yue Huang in Natomas.
The dumplings here are mediocre at best. The service was terrible. The girl seemed like she more important things to do than be friendly or thorough for the whole two tables they had their. I'd rather go to Journey to the dumpling they will make your experience the best. You are supposed to ask if your guests. Have ever had soup dumplings and offer to show them how to enjoy to enjoy them properly. I will not be returning. I'd rather take the extra ten minutes to go to a more friendly place.
Great food, and good service.
Everything was perfect we tried pork dumplings beef dumplings and the steamed soup dumplings, and some fried rice, and everything tasted wonderful. The steamed soup buns were our favorite.
Door Dash Order: Around noon 3.1.24 The scallion pancakes were amazing today! For me, perfectly cooked and not over fried. A friends grandma made them once and these came so close. I've had them before at other local restaurants and even tried to make them myself, always over fried and crispy. I also had the Szechuan Beef Noodle Soup. Delicious and flavorful. I thought it would be much spicer but it was very mild. Hefty serving. Otherwise very good. Hats off to the chef
Terrible food. Ordered Minced Beef Noodles with Preserved Vegetables and received noodles tossed in soy sauce with maybe a tea spoon of beef and limp cucumbers. Taken advantage of. Will not order again and do not recommend anyone else to.
Really delicious and fresh home made dumplings at reasonable prices. Service was attentive and not intrusive, food was amazing.
