Never have i seen such an authentic display of cultural cuisine, not only is the food out of this world. But they even have custom seating areas for the full Yemeni experience! The staff really personify the essence of Yemeni hospitality. Offering recommendations i was direct and said idk what to order and they seemed genuinely excited to let me try their food Tea with baked dessert (not too sweet) were very light and perfect after a hearty meal. The meat it self was to die for , roasted very slowly over a long time and spiced to perfection. All the flavours bleed into the rice too and accompanied by a good variety of salads both fatoosh and yogurt cucumber. This place is my goto when i have a group of freinds i wana meet with and it feels like im not in Ottawa anymore

Great location and ambience. The service was very prompt and staff made sure to tend to any requests. The lamb plat was to die for. The rice was also flavorful and a great treat to the pallete. The only downside was the mandi chicken I ordered on the side. It really lacked flavor. The chicken was well cooked but unfortunately bland. The lamb was a group plate and is a must try!

We had an amazing experience. Iftar was sooo good. Dates, soup, samosa and lamb mandi, and shrimp sauce … I recommend it strongly … will definitely be back soon …

We visited this restaurant today for the first time for iftar and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was great and we enjoyed our meal . Thank you for your hospitality
