YellowBird Chicken

The fried and rotisserie chicken were both good. The potato salad and Cole slaw were some of the best I've had.

Really good chicken

Chicken golden but not cooked enough inside. The Mac and cheese leaves an after taste. I wish the owner well. I’ll go back and I’ll try something different.

Minus for service!! I NEVER do this but, anyone looking for take out DO NOT call Yellowbird in West Roxbury!! Whoever answers the phone is so rude it’s unbelievable. I tried to fix an order I made online and was told they were to busy to look for it and were just making all of the food in the que. Then continued to tell me my order wasn’t there even tho I was charged(it’s on my account statement) and that to get a refund I needed to “call the company” even though it was made on THEIR WEBSITE!! Never again! I remember the food being good but obviously service has changed.

Not sure where these bad reviews came from. This food is exactly what you’re looking for out of a fried chicken joint. The chicken is fantastic. I saw a few people say it was too salty. Perhaps, but I like well-seasoned food. Sides are great, especially the mac & cheese and fast food style fries. The prices are also very fair. A good-sized Buffalo chicken sandwich for $7.99 is a steal these days.
