The fried chicken was just okay. I liked the chicken at their Vegas location better.
We had Llewellyn’s fried chicken & shrimp and grits and both were great!
I chose poorly for my dinner at Yardbird Miami. The sweet tea braised short rib was an unfortunate game of finding the thyme sticks. When asked, the server shrugged and said the thyme sprigs were the chef’s recipe. So if you enjoy pulling woody twigs from your mouth between chewing bites of unrendered fat, this is the $42 entree for you. The entree of bone-in fried chicken and stacked waffles looked more appetizing ($42). Note that the tip is automatically applied, even on a table of two.
Quality service and the very best food ever
If you're actually from the south and you eat here, I promise you'll be mad. Fried chicken shouldn't be that expensive or fancy. My watermelon was seasoned. My cornbread was weird, and nothing tasted right. I just wanted some good southern food . Ps. The deviled eggs were good, but they were also weird. Dietary restrictions: Not gastroparesis or acid reflux approved. Lol, it's southern food.
Great food for a good meal
