Yanagi

Incredible food, incredible service, and the right price. We moved from Houston to Austin, so we are picky about Asian food - Yanagi is the real deal. I particularly enjoyed the Dolstot Bibimbap and the Lychee Sake!!

This is a great Japanese gem on William Cannon. I've been here a couple time and never disappointed. The sushi is great, and I keep meaning to try different dishes but it is so delicious that I find it hard to change. I tried the mochi ice cream and it was good. The ice cream part was really flavorful. The rice coating on the outside didn't taste as I remember, it was not chewy. Always great service here and look at the specials.

Went in on a Tuesday afternoon and was incredibly impressed with Yanagi! The restaurant itself looks super nice and clean, and the waiter was very attentive and polite. And the most important bit is that the sushi was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend going there during their happy hour (4-6pm) because I got two rolls for 20 bucks, which I think is a great price. I left full and happy and will be coming back!

Got the Yanagi Boat and omg 100% worth the price it comes with A LOT SUSHI! It's high quality too very melts on your tongue HIGH RECOMMEND

This restaurant is a tucked away Gem! Fast, friendly service and the food was great. The freshest tatsing Uni I've had in a very long time the CTX area, it was Delicious! I will be returning! Parking: As far as the eye can sea! Kid-friendliness: Control them lil heathens n there won't be an issue! Wheelchair accessibility: Roll in n get a roll!

Discovering Yanagi was definitely my 2023 highlight! I've always had a pleasant and memorable experience. Their sushi rolls and spicy edamame are delicious and my personal favorite, the beef bibimbab, is to die for. Not to mention their portions are ginormous. I took my family for the first time tonight and they loved not only the food, but also the service and overall atmosphere. Our waiter tonight offered great service and was friendly (so sad I cannot remember his name, but nice young fellow). He recommended the Dezato Maki as dessert which was absolutely delicious. 10/10! Ordered through DoorDash - unreal. The rice on the roll was so fresh it was amazing!! I’ve never had shrimp gyoza & it was great. & the miso soup hit the spot. Even with the drive it 100% felt like i just ordered at the restaurant
