Yamado Japanese Restaurant

Food is made and orders are taken by a japanese couple, who owns and runs the place I assume. We were served homemade wasabi soy sauce instead of a regular. Owner came out and plated it out from a bowl covered with some plastic wrap. It tasted delicious! We will definitely come back. The food, atmosphere and how much people who work here cared about place amazed me!

Felt like I was home, the owner was funny, friendly. The food was delicious & fresh. The miso soup was delicious and spicy chicken teriyaki was sooo good. Definitely recommend this place. I’ll definitely be back.

Me and an friend came into this restaurant an hour before closing time. The woman working there refused to serve us because there was no clean tables. We asked if we were going to get seated and she said “No.”

This is a family owned, cozy restaurant with delicious Japanese food. We absolutely loved it and will be going back. Their service was excellent and imo it’s one of the better sushi places in Naperville area.

owners are super nice, very welcoming! my husband & i split the tonkotsu miso ramen along with a california roll & dragon roll. we also ordered the tempura combo as an appetizer. everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. the owners are gracious & made menu recommendations, and let us sample a delicious sauce they made. we are so excited to return! highly recommend

I decided to stop in here tonight on a whim, and I am so glad I did! The restaurant looked quite inviting; it had a nice, cozy vibe-especially during a snowy night like tonight. The owners were very friendly, it seemed like a welcoming place as soon as I walked in. I ordered the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, and it was delicious! Every bite was savory, and the pork was perfectly cooked and so full of flavor. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, I’ll definitely be back! :)
