Great place for fresh sushi and Japanese food.

We've been coming here for years since before they expanded. The food is the best sushi around. Service is great and prices are too. The only thing is that they don't have a party room. But it's our go-to spot for a long time and after all this time it's still great

This is our favorite neighborhood Japanese spot, and one of our favorite restaurants in Throgs Neck. We have been ordering from here for 10+ years and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. We have never had a bad experience. It’s easy to order directly off their site. The deliverymen are prompt and friendly. Thank you Yamada!! Ordered pickup and was surprised how they managed to make takeout hibachi as good as it is when you sit in the restaurant!! The shrimp and steak were seasoned well and we received generous portions of everything :) definitely want to try in person next time!

Food is good but they take way to long to deliver. Especially when I live less than a mile away. Not good. I suggest you order on the phone and just pick up. Its easier

Not from the neighborhood, but just left the medical center and needed food and drink before heading home, I was fasting all day for bloodwork. The acrylic service station right up against the door deterred me from staying. The message was obvious "no indoor patrons", from the sight of it. I was looking for a quiet, solo sit-down dinner. These are moments I appreciate. For a split second, I wondered whether or not to order, but despite the service woman that arrived quickly, with the best smile she could muster, I didn't feel welcomed. So I walked out. It appears to be take-away only. I could understand why, but COVID and the political climate has changed things that even going out to dinner feels overbearing. It's sad. Just got on the bus, I'll eat when I get home. (T_T)

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called after the restaurant messed up my order and the Manager YoYo was very rude, and extremely condescending. After waiting over an hour for my order to come, they messed it up and were reluctant to rectify the mistake they did on their end I had to wait another hour for my missing item to arrive.
