The food was really good. The service wasn't great and the tables weren't very clean.
I have visited this place regularly in the last 6 months or so but only the buffet. Vegetable Korma is my favorite with a delicious sauce. Chicken tiki masala also great with a fine sauce. The vegetable rice is perfect as a basic foundation for your meal and the vegetable spaghetti has an interesting flavor, taste a little. Try the lamb mo mo when available, its flavorful and interesting at least in small amounts. I forgot the tandoori chicken was good. I admit that the service can be a little slow sometimes. Recently since the COVID situation the buffet has not been open.
This is better as a takeout unless you want to getchu some cute 10 dollar clutches to go along with your dinner.
I wanted Indian food but wasn't able to go anywhere due to my car needing repairs. Checking Uber eats, I saw that Yak The Kathmandu Kitchen was an option. I've heard of it but I'd never been to it. My curiosity prompted me to try them. Chicken tikka masala was the obvious choice and I also decided to order naan. The restaurant is a considerable distance away from my house so I expected a longer wait for the arrival of my order. I believe the wait time was supposed to be 30-55 minutes. I'm not sure when the order arrived but it didn't seem like a particularly long time. When I picked up the order from outside, the food still felt really warm. I have to say that I'm not much of a spicy food eater. My chicken tikka masala spice choice was mild. I believe you get to choose from mild, medium, spicy, and extra spicy. The mild was just enough spice for me and I loved it. It smelled so good and the flavor didn't disappoint. The naan was delicious as well. It was fresh and cooked to perfection. I will have to try this place again. The first time was a 5 star experience.
The Naan (with or without garlic) is good. The Basmati Rice is cooked to perfection, and the Lamb Saag is an easy 10/10. It's the best Curry Spot in Mobile.
The bathrooms was so nasty, my feet literally was sticking to the bathroom floor, from build up of urine, but the food is delicious, it makes me wonder what the kitchen area looks like.
Food is old, no flavor and no personal interactions with anyone. You have to order through QR code and pay before getting your food even to dine in. Once food got here the rice was old and hard, curry had no flavor.
