Horrible place

The food was 5/10. Ambiance 9/10. It was ok to eat, but for the high price, it was nothing special. What upset us most was our sexist server - he only spoke to my husband (even though I was the one paying the bill!) and when water droplets fell on my head from the air vent, instead of apologizing and moving my seat or table, he told me that the water was due to condensation… I know what condensation is… but that doesn’t fix the problem. He also coerced us to order more food than we wanted to and he mistook our order and brought us more food than we ordered. He only spoke to my husband during the order, he flat out gave his back to me, and when I mentioned one item to potentially order, he said: “that’s the big boss, you have to give her what she wants so she can be happy”. What kind of comment is that? It was clear he was annoyed with me, but was I not supposed to mention water droplets from the vent falling on my head, plate and water glass? …My husband’s drink tasted like sprite and corn syrup, so it took him a while to force it down, and as I looked for a drink, the server pointed me to the “ladies” drink section of the menu with “fruity” drinks that were full of syrup. Instead of asking me what kind of drinks I like (which are on the dryer, bitter side), he simply assumed that all women are the same. We will not be back.

Worked 2 shifts for this establishment in early August, 8/5 & 8/12, the owner refuses to pay me. Took weeks for them to finally mail me a check which bounced. They are closed because they cannot afford to operate, they cannot afford to pay their vendors. There's an Instagram account about the owner Memphis Garrett for this reason which I hoped wasn't true but unfortunately it is! I've had to resort to this as well as threatening emails! They even tried to bait me into working a third shift on 9/16 by holding my check hostage, I refused! Get your money upfront because they will not pay you!!!

The food was really good! I had the beef short rib and my friend had the pasta which she said was better than a fav Italian restaurant. The drinks were really good too. My margarita was tasty and strong. They did run out of some entrees and some of the patrons were noisy. My friend didn't like being given our check before we asked, but other than that we had a great time.
