The best fish and chips I can eat in Manchester are recommended 100%.

As a southerner I was informed by my northern Mrs to try proper fish and chips when up north and this place did not disappoint. The Mrs had cod, chips, mushy peas, gravy and scraps. I went for haddock, chips and gravy. Everything was delicious and the batter was perfectly crisp and hands down this place beats any chip shop I’ve been to down south. Highly reccomend

It tasted surprisingly delicious! It’s unusual to find an actual nice fish and chips in the city, but this was exceptional. I had to resist going back in and ordering another after finishing the first.

The servers were very friendly and gave me additional sauce for no charge. It was a decent fish and chips but I am still trying the pubs around the city for a better version of this British staple. I was quite disappointed with the fries as it could be more crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. I have tasted much better chips in the pubs. Tip: Order the Cod. The hake is tough.
